THE PLOT:
When Richie's cousin Reggie pulls a mean prank that destroys the sleigh carrying hundreds of Christmas Presents for the local
orphanage he blames himself and uses Professor Keenbeans wish machine in order to wish that he was never born.
He awakens in a world where there was never a Richie Rich and controlled by Reggie. With his parents and the whole town
under Reggie's thumb Richie escapes and becomes public enemy number 1 in order to find a way to set things right. But if
he doesn't get to the wishing machine by midnight Christmas eve the wish will be in place forever and Richie Rich will just
be gone.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
Okay, I got to admit this is better then the first movie, which was good in it's own right. But this is much better, it has
something the first movie didn't. Irona the robot maid. Which is one of the most important characters in the original comic
and cartoon. As important as Keenbean and Dollar. But Dollar the dog is still too small, plus he's more then just a dog.
He usually tries to help but only ends up causing more trouble. Plus he's a Dollarmation, like a dalmatian but with dollar
signs instead of spots. But that's minor and I give it 9 STARS.
VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I agree with Zedd that this is better then the first movie and I liked the addition of Irona, but I wish they did better in
the animatronics of her eyes and her face. Plus I really wish she had more of a part. But other then that I agree with Zedd
and I agree about Dollar, hopefully the next movie does it right. 8 STARS
ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ STORY (The story is pretty good and it works.)
+ CHARACTERS (Loyal to the cartoon.)
+ VILLAIN (Reggie is a good villain.)
+ IRON THE ROBOT MAID (About time they got Irona.)
+ EUGENE LEVY (Makes a better Keenbean then Mike McShane.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- NO BEARD (Keenbean has a beard and no mustache.)
- IRONA EFFECT (Voltron wished Irona had better animontronic around the eyes and mouth. Plus we both wanted to see more
of her.)
- DOLLAR (Dollar is too small and he's just not just cute, he's like Scooby-Doo.)
...AND FINALLY...
- FAN BASED (If you aren't a fan of the comic book, the cartoon show or the first movie, then you may not like this one either.)
